Datto continuously monitors hardware performance on all devices. Tracking hard drive SMART status, device temperature, fan RPMs, and power supply voltage allow Datto to often detect hardware failures before they occur and proactively ship out replacement devices.
Backed by Datto’s Full Insurance Policy
Datto G Series hardware is backed by a full insurance policy (3 Year Hardware, Upgrade, Hardware Testing, Disaster Recovery Insurance).
Datto’s Warranty backs our best-in-class hardware with the most comprehensive hardware warranty in the industry. If anything happens to the hardware, we’ll replace it at no charge for three years. From individual hard drives to complete devices, we will cover every necessary replacement for the life of the warranty. Hardware will be priority shipped to reduce any wait time.
Additionally, Datto offers the industry’s best upgrade policy, making it easy to move to higher specification devices as your clients’ needs grow. The cost to upgrade is a low, flat rate of $100, plus the difference in hardware price between the two devices. The upgrade process couldn’t be simpler. Purchase a new device within the same Datto product line, set up the new unit, return the original device, and we will refund the purchase price of the original hardware less the upgrade fee.
