Datto Academy is a knowledge-sharing program designed to provide Partners with all the information and training necessary to get the most value out of Datto devices and services. The more our Partners know the better they can serve end users and the more successful they become. Datto Academy combines online training programs, hands on seminars and workshops, and live and recorded topical webinars. The Datto Academy offers both Basic and Advanced training courses.

Datto Academy Basic Online Training
The first phase of Datto Academy is a web-based basic training course that covers general information and best practices for supporting and implementing Datto solutions. Training is broken up into multiple interactive modules that detail device setup and configuration, virtualization, data & application restoration, and basic Tier 1 support issues.
Technicians that complete the online training will have the knowledge and ability to implement and support Datto devices at a basic level, empowering Partners to solve the most common technical support issues. Online training is available at no cost to registered Datto Partners.

Datto Academy Advanced Training Seminars
The second phase of Datto Academy is comprised of a live classroom style technical training seminar. This two-day seminar, held in Datto’s brand new state of the art classroom, includes the in-depth content Datto Partners need to support and troubleshoot complex issues. Seminar content covers Tier 1 and Tier 2 support topics such as; ZFS troubleshooting, GUI configurations, and bare metal restore.
Training concludes with a certification test. Attendees that pass the test will be well prepared to support Datto devices with the skills necessary to address a wide variety of issues. They will be the best trained technicians in Datto support issues, outside of Datto’s own Technical Support Engineers.
